This little story is one of my first and favourite stories ever written about BC history. There is so much more to Farson's life and incredible story than I've written here. The fact that Lake Cowichan was his favourite place in the world should be no surprise to anyone who has ever spent time on Vancouver Island. I plan to return to the story of Negley and Eve someday, but in the form of a book. Their story was fascinating to research, and the process set a high standard for the rest of the stories I intend to write. Stay tuned!
