The W.A. Jameson story was long overdue for a rewrite. The dates were unclear, and the locations were wrong. It wasn't until I re-researched this little story that I discovered just how big Jameson's really was. I believe that Jameson's had the potential to do great things and perhaps become bigger than Starbucks is today. I wouldn't be surprised to learn someday that the Starbucks guys took Jameson's lead and ran with it. Jameson's had died out just years before Starbucks took off just across the water in Seattle. In any case, it was particularly interesting to learn that they were serving up lattes at the local fair in 1913. Thanks for following along!
